What Genie does
Genie reads commit data from your GitHub repositories (with your explicit install permission via the Genie GitHub App) and delivers daily summaries to Slack, Telegram, Discord, or email. It does not modify your repositories.
Your responsibilities
- Only install Genie on repositories you have the right to share
- Keep your Slack/Discord/Telegram webhooks private
- Don't abuse the service — rate limits apply
- Comply with your own org's data-handling rules
Genie's responsibilities
- Deliver digests on the schedule you configure (best effort)
- Keep the service available at commercially reasonable uptime
- Protect your data per the Privacy Policy
- Notify you of material changes to these terms
Free beta
The service is currently in free beta. Features, limits, and pricing may change. When we introduce paid tiers, existing free-tier users will be notified and offered continued access at a reasonable level.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing support (see Privacy). We can suspend accounts that abuse the service, but will provide notice and a migration path for legitimate use cases.
Warranty + liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for missed digests, incorrect summaries, or downstream decisions made based on Genie output. Treat Genie as an assistant, not an auditor.
